this is the 1st time she came to my new house ever since i shifted
anw we just had lunch for ban mian
then after went online to checkout friend's facebook

today went out with darling, chloe and guanghao to IMM
met them up after they bought my prezzie at bugis
those prezzie are like so near yet so far to me
making me super duper curious =P

went to ikea with darren today..
had been wanting to go there for quite some time already
just love the things they sell at ikea
creative and modern designs simple and nice, and most of them are affordable
both of us bought a number of items
but all add up to less than 20bucks
had a fun time exploring around i thought it was like a playground- one that's suitable for adults too!

woah its ages since i updated..
im now in msia, in the room, feeding mosquitoes and updating my bloggie.
makin use of the time b4 i go visiting at my granduncle's place

collected a feaking big angbao on my way home this year.
the biggest angbao i ever collected in my whole entire 19 years.
i fell and hit my knee.. =(

and i got to realise that all the new year clothes i brought are either skirt or dresses
all above the knee
excellent! all cant cover the orh cheh..
so i can just go visiting, at the same time, advertisin the orh cheh..

hmm.. nth exciting for this cny
had steamboat and some jia xiang dishes for reunion dinner..
but i still miss the reunion when my grandpa is ard..
at least there are more relatives gathering to eat tgt..
i miss the times..
at least the atmosphere is there and we purely eat all handmade jia xiang cai..
as usual, gathering at my 1st aunt's hse after reunion..

morning, went to temple to pray and visiting at grandaunt's..
was talking to my dad this morning, only then did i realised that we actually pai guanyin at that temple.. haha! new discovery for me la..
oh! afternoon was visiting at maternal grandparents' place
long drive to gurun
practically just slept thru the whole journey..
luckily i dun hv my driving license yet.. if nt i might hv to take turns to drive
grandma cooked a whole tables of dishes..
kinda like a reunion at my maternal side..
oh apparently i din know my cousin got married and is alr pregnant!
and the baby is due in bout 2-3 days' time! =)

hmm.. think its time i gotta go prepare for more visiting

IM HOME ALONE! my family went back to Penang! i used to love being home alone. have more freedom to do whatever i want. But dunno why im feeling kinda empty being left alone at home now. guess im over the rebellious period, so im not yearning for the freedom i used to want. now, the moment i step into my house, i just feel very sian ji pua. Stayed home the whole afternoon ytd after my morning lessons. tried to study but wasnt too productive. felt so 自闭 can! the last time i felt this way was when im still working in BCS. luckily chloe could accompany me for dinner that night. thanks man~ muackz! =D

went out to study today at tpy macs then town to look see look see. =D got myself a pair of shades. FINALLY man. had always wanted to buy one but dun really know what kinda shades suit me. followed by chatting session since there's nothing else to do. anyway, my mom just call to say that they are only coming back on tues night. meaning i got another 2 miserable days to spend by myself! sianzation~

WOAH! i finally found a job man! WHEE... haha.. today was my 2nd day of work. i'm working at starhub, just FYI. was super appalled to see nigel at work this morning. both of us 'eh' super loudly when we saw each other. =D so funny man. anw 2 of my floorball seniors was working there too! initially, found one of them very familiar but couldnt really confirm if i know them. cos..... i only attended like 2 trainings and u know, they look different with sports attire and all. hmmm... found today way better than wed. dunno why.. maybe cos i find this group of frens today more friendly and helpful. at least i dun feel so helpless when i need them. or maybe cos im already more familiar with the job scope. =) anw, i realised there's at least 8 of us studying in SIM! Dolores even claimed she saw me in school before!

it's considered a good start though. but im gonna work at roadshows the whole of next week. looking forward to it! I SMELL MONEY~~ =DD

i have been craving for Penang laksa for ages and i finally get to eat it today! my mum cooked penang laksa for dinner. YUMMY YUM YUM! it's my mum's 1st attempt to cook it so we did lotsa tasting before we got the right taste. =D u know it's darn hard to find penang laksa in singapore. needless to say, i think it's even harder to find one that cooks delicious one. KBOX SESSION!! finally on man. it's been sometime since my OG mentioned bout going to kbox, though only the usual few of us could make it. =) our initial plan was to sing at some 10bucks KTV at chinatown that chloe recommended. GOSH! we had a hard time finding the place k. like where's the biggest CK building? where's smith street? only after so much hassle that we got know that there's no more room available. SO, WE ENDED UP AT KBOX ULTIMATELY! HAHA! till now, we still dunno where's the exact location of that 10bucks KTV. must be v ulu.

this kbox session cost me a bomb, considering that I'm not working now and my mum's not giving me allowance this week. so i gotta finance myself! ok la, at least still not that bad 'cos chloe and i stayed until 8pm. one hour extension for FREE! =DD Chloe was super hyper, darn high. started bouncing here and there! on the whole, it was really fun! but i felt kinda bad cos it seems like others don't really get to sing a lot, especially regi. hey regi, learn to sing more Chinese songs man! then we can sing together next time! =)) now my voice is a bit hoarse from singing the whole afternoon. gotta drink more honey lemon lo~~

Oh man.. im feeling kinda excited now! cos i'm working tmr! thanks to MINYI! thanks babe, for the job offer yo! haha.. gonna meet new ppl, hopefully it'll be enjoyable one. which i think it will be la. cant be so suay rite? =)

btw i finally gotta play badminton on wed! WHEE!! =D super duper fun! super duper happy! cos.... i hvnt really played a proper game for ages! hmmmm.. like bout 2-3 years? long rite? i love badminton. and badminton do bring back many childhood memories. BLK32-ers used to play badminton every weekends, now its like a never-gonna-happen-again thingy. Huiyu, we gotta meet out for badminton one day man. i miss playing badminton with u!

Anw, mixed doubles was fun. pretty hard on the guys though, cos they are the ones who did most of the running here and there. Game against chloe and sherm was especially funny though. it seems like they din coordinate very well cos both are kinda hesitant bout hitting the shuttle. haha! chloe's reactions are super cute can. made me laugh like mad. And im doubting what andy said now. he told me he just played anyhow. how can this be man? he knows the rules and most importantly he made me run all over the court! haha. gotta build up my stamina. stamina sucks like hell now. Overall, it's darn worth the money to play, reason being we get to play for 4 hours when we only paid for 2hours. where to find such a good deal. rite?

Guess i gotta really train my stamina. getting muscle aches again. i felt as if i had stroke or sth. whole of right and lower body are aching, especially my butt and thighs. sitting down is a challenge for me now. really. but peeps! i'm still looking forward to more badminton sessions! =DD

PHEW! bazaar's finally over! YAYNESS! finally can sit down and blog. on the whole, it was a super tiring yet fulfilling 3 days for me. this is like the 1st major event that i organised in my entire life! of cos it wouldnt have been possible without the effort of the whole bazzar committee! THANKS FOR THE HELP FELLOW TEAMMATES! =D life has never been so hectic for me, seriously saying. anw this is what happened on the three days.

Reached school at 8am. Cheryl bought us mac breakfast which i only got to eat at 12plus. so breakfast ----> brunch. Gosh! morning, we were super busy trying to locate the respective vendors to their respective booths with only one copy of the floor plan. more problems came up when one of my vendors said the space wasn't enough. next, xing siew and i were supposed to look for vendors interested in the fashion show. basically, fashion show just gave all of us headache. firstly, there was lack of models and they were all late. then, they refused to wear some of the clothes that were being chosen. thirdly, there's this particular vendor who demanded the models to wear dresses that they dun like and even asked one of them not to wear bra! O.M.G i fainted when i heard that. but luckily fashion show was cancelled last minute so this gives us ample time to prepare for the next day's. many running here and there non-stop for the whole day. squeezing brain jucies for the script. i just dropped DEAD when i got home. fell asleep almost immediately. however, it seems like i din sleep at all cos i was thinking bout the fashion show the whole time during my sleep.

the day of our fashion show. in school by 9am. still busy but slightly better than tues. fashion show was a SUCCESS! so glad that our efforts were paid off. CHEERS TO ALL! =D finally got to shop a little after the fashion show. got this kinomo dress which i think has a v unique print! haha! i love it! only got it at like 21bucks? haha cheap man! then, we gotta give out free fancl samples. ben wei was a really good promoter. kept repeating the same old thing to the people without feeling tired.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YING! i felt so guilty not being able to rush back in time to celebrate my sis's birthday. only managed to sing her happy birthday song when i called home. so bad of me. ='( Anw i din really help out a lot cos i had lessons until 3pm. Actually it's not my lessons. i merely crashed. haha. wanted to catch the fashion show but it was delayed due to some issues. oh oh oh!! i got another 2 tops from the bazaar again! one for my sis! hee.. GAWD! i'm spending a lot~

we did free labour again after the end of the bazaar. this time round, we completed everything a lot faster than on sat. somemore, there's lesser manpower. i love to play with the trolley! so thrilling! the rest even raced using it! so cute la. basically, the whole load of us started to cam-whore after everything. of cos la! PRECIOUS MOMENTS LEH =D managed to leave school only at 10 odd and decided to have a simple dinner at KAP's mac. Games and forefeit really bonded all of us.

oh and i realised being the organiser is not too bad too! haha! at least u get loads of discount when u buy stuffs from the booths. oh! and there's loads of freebies too! =P

Recently i realised i hvnt really been spending quality time with my family. Almost out everyday, heart-to-heart talk with my mum is less frequent nowadays. Sometimes, we'll just quarrel over small stuffs which i think is so redundant. I miss my dad too! Only get to see him like 2 days a week then he'll be off to malaysia again. Oh man.. I'm yearning for a family outing which i dun think will come by anytime soon. Wish i could turn back time! Miss the time loads~ Meanwhile, i think the best i can do is to stay home more often and spend time with them. =D

I'm in a state of SHOCK now. Really appalled by what i saw in school today. I saw someone whom i'm used to be quite close to, yet totally disappeared in my life for the past two years and now, today, he suddenly appeared again, out of nowhere. Appeared at a place i will NEVER expect myself to see him. "OH MY GOSH" is what has been running in my mind the whole time. I still couldn't accept the fact i actually saw him. It came too fast for me to react to it. I'm having this very mixed feeling now. Dunno how to describe it in words. It's like shock and excited? A bit happy that i got to see him after so long? Yet, darn puzzled? ARGH! This is irritating. What's wrong with me?

so busy with council recently, especially when we are only given three weeks to prepare. supposed to wake up at eight this morning but i overslept for an hour. cos i couldn't really sleep the night before even though i'm already darn tired. anywhere i'm so glad that i had finally settled payment with this super idiotic vendor. he just tried all sorts of methods to get discount, giving all sorts of reasons. i just couldn't stand him and cant help it but to roll my eyes when he walked away. mentioning him just make my blood boils. @$&*!#^$&

anyway, i met up with jack on thurs. Sherin was supposed to meet us too but too bad she's busy with work. poor soul. we ate long john. got updates regarding my previous company. oh! and guess who i saw? haha. i saw pui wah, nick, freddy and shi mei at KFC! hvnt seen them after i left BCS. i sorta miss the working days with them and my mom has been bugging me to work part time there. O.M.G but think i'll never go back considering the new officer is there, and most importantly i don't want my tummy back. sitting down the whole day, merely exercising my fingers.

then, i met kin on friday. it's so kind of her to pass me my course related notes and textbooks. somemore, it's not very light. there's a couple of texts she passed me. gathering is more or less just chit chatting and it took us hours! both of us were so shocked that we could talk for so long.
somemore kin is not our age. she's really adult adult.

no plans for today. finally got to stay home for the whole day. initially i wanted to study a little before i had lunch. but who knows i ended up listening to ipod, and soon after my mum called out to me :“蓉，吃午餐咯！” okay, there goes my morning.

it's 2.43pm now. what am i doing? blogging obviously. reading my friends' blogs, trying to catch up with their lifes. And i realised something in common. Everyone's busy with school work! endless of tutorials, lab sessions, projects. hmm... is that what people said " oh.. typical uni life.."? But it seems like im missing that out even though i myself is in uni. To me, uni life is just attending lectures and go home. That's all. FULL STOP. ~~tutorials. projects. lab sessions.~~ Is that good? i asked myself. hmmm.. It'll be good if i'm a very discipline person. I'll have loads of time for research and study. But too bad i'm not really those kind. i tend to procrastinate quite a lot. and this is not a good sign at all.

happy for kathy that she finally cancelled her trip to thailand. she must have felt darn relieved not needing to face that few bastards. not needing to worry how to pass time with them around the whole time. yet, on the other hand, i felt kinda disppointed cos i cant get her to buy me stuffs from thailand! but that's not important.. oh!! minyi! i'm counting on you then! haha..

anyway, went to study with sherman in the afternoon. [ok sherman, this time round dun say that i din mention ur name. cos i doing it now! =P] but apparently central was having this dunno what event that is so noisy. cant really concentrate on studying, so we decided to catch a movie instead. we watch wall-e! haha my love. wall-e is SOOO CUTE! after that, sherman treated me to subway. it was a belated bday treat that he promised.

went over to cousin's at night. Got to see my niece. she's quite active today, not as shy as before. so cute la! i love children! haha they are so adorable. oh but din get to see my nephew in time though. he went over to his grandparents' place already. heard that he just learnt how to walk. when we were on our way home, we gotten the chance to take the bus designed by NTU students. those with a bar top and sofa chairs. quite interesting huh.

ytd- i went to study with sherman the whole afternoon. surprising i can study with someone now. i used to only study more productively when i'm alone at home. i realised my block's rooftop garden is actually quite a conducive place to study. quiet, no distractions and its windy. a good start to start mugging! haha.

today- went all the way back to school for bazaar meeting. met up with 2 new committee members - xing xiu and si tian. just felt very drained after the meeting. duno why. took a nap. oh and i had this very weird dream! haha i dreamt that i was at a hawker centre with a group of friends. then we saw this very unlucky girl. paasers-by would accidentally spill drinks and water over her. and the amount spilled is v big. so she got very wet. and worst of all, the last drink that was spilled on her was darn hot! haha! i know its weird. i hvnt had such weird dreams for some time alr..

school life is darn slack nowadays cos i only needa attend school like 3 days a week? everyone seems very busy with school work. endless of projects and research to do. only my school seems different from the rest. haha. as usual, i always laugh at lecturer's accent during lessons. i know its very bad of me, but you know, i cant help it. it's the only form of entertainment in boring lectures. my econs lecturer pronounce blue line as brunei. he just cant pronounce the ‘L'. like plane becomes prane. then my math lecturer got this v classic indian accent that's kinda funny too. PBF is even worse. not because i cant understand what he's saying. he's just too long-winded, like some old ah peh. always digress and never go straight to the point. his class is just so ZZZ, no matter how hard i try to keep myself awake, ill still doze off automatically. if not ill just start talkin! haha! think the best is still the singh. he's the only normal lecturer i can find so far. haha!

apparently the event im involved in is the most pathetic.

to make things worse, our event is in sept.

now i wish i could be in city venture or overseas CIP.

anw, dinner at miss clarity cafe was fun..
only 2 each from bazaar and blood donation went.
which was like me, brian, sophia and darrell.
all were pretty crappy.
started talking using sign language after that.
but the food wasn't v fantastic.
not worth the price.

btw nia wrote me a postcard and got me a pair of earrings when she was back in indo. hmm.. u know i realised im not that sweet as a friend. nia and ah tok always made the effort to write sth for me once in a while, and im the one that dun usually do that.. i duno why.. maybe its just that i prefer to keep it in my heart? there are no harm showing it though i know.. i think maybe its the u-know-i-know kinda feelings that are more important, more realistic. rite? some people are just too superficial no matter how well they treat you. But i do appreciate all of these! i love them! Once in a while, taking them out to read when u are down really makes life better. hvnt work for nearly two weeks

stayed home most of the time
(for this week at least =D)
staying home = rotting/sleep=pig= growing fat/online

amazingly i din watch television
hvnt really watch tv ever since i started working

orginally wanted to stop working temporary to take a short break
as well as to sit down
and think through carefully bout my future
settle my uni application asap

but i know myself too well
ruirong is ultimately still ruirong
one tt loves to procrastinate a lot

i hate myself being like tt all the time
always placing important stuff to the back
leisure comes first before anything
like now..
im supposed to be reading through brochures
but im blogging
oh man.. im gonna die sooner or later if this carries on

mum told mi tt i should stop being like this
i should change my lifestyle
sleep earlier..
do important things first..
which i agree with her totally

but like wat ppl usually say

im trying my best to change my lifestlye
